- Did you know that it is best to feed your dogs AFTER his morning walk? and that giving food is considered giving affection? Well now you know. :-)
- And to always step out of your house IN FRONT of your dog..after all, you want your pet to follow you, not the other way around.
- If using a training collar,NEVER leave it on an unattended dog:these collars catch easily on cage bars and similar surfaces and can seriously injure or kill a dog!
- Is your dog suffering from separation anxiety? A little trick - ignore him! No really. Ignore him for 15 minutes before you leave the house, while you're getting ready, and for another 15 minutes when you get back home. Don't say hello and don't say, good bye. Why? because you want to make your comings and goings as uneventful than taking a shower, or anything activity that requires a bit of privacy.
