Roquet,a rescued dog, needs a forever home!He has been staying with us for 6 month...what a real sweetie! A 40 lbs blend of boxer,maybe pit and german shepherd,he has a slight build for his breed(s).He ABSOLUTELY LOVES people .Full of energy,(he is, after all, only 1 year old),this dog is NOT for coach potatoes or for families with children under 14 yrs.old .Very intelligent he will thrive in an environment where he will be stimulated.(learn new tricks etc...) Pass the word around.PLEASE help us find him his forever home.Contact me for more infos on him or to schedule a visit.

Cher ami/chère amie,

Savais-tu que le nombre d’usines à chiots exploitant au Québec est estimé à 2 000, et que celles-ci produisent plus de 400 000 chiots par année? Ces chiots sont ensuite vendus dans des animaleries partout au pays et directement au public par Internet, dans les journaux ou aux usines.

Les usines à chiots sont des exploitations à grande échelle qui forcent les chiens reproducteurs à produire plusieurs portées successives dans le but de soutenir la demande de chiots des consommateurs. Les chiots qui sont ensuite vendus dans des animaleries ou sur Internet viennent d’endroits où règnent la souffrance, la maladie, la malnutrition et la solitude. Aussi, les chiots sont eux-mêmes sujets à une variété de maladies. Certains meurent quelques semaines, voire quelques jours, après leur achat.

Humane Society International-Canada travaille à mettre fin aux usines à chiots. Pour ce faire, cet organisme a besoin de notre aide.

At a demonstration against gaz chambers

I'm Elisabeth and it is so nice to meet you all! I've got a whole lot to say about dogs, cats, how to best take care of them, train, and give them love, and affection. I also would like to be a resource for animals rescue groups and encourage you not to buy your pets at pet shops but to rescue or foster a wonderful furry friend from your local rescue organization...but I'll get into all of this later. Wishing you warmth, health and happiness..

Je suis Éli et je suis ravie de tous vous rencontrer!J'ai beaucoup à dire au sujet des chiens,chats,les meilleurs soins à leur donner,l'entrainement à leur faire suivre,et tout l'amour à leur donner comme ils le méritent tous!
J'aimerai aussi être une personne ressource pour les groupes de secours et refuges pour les animaux et vous encourager de ne pas acheter vos animaux aux animaleries mais plutôt de sauver ou être un foyer d'acceuil pour un merveilleux animal d'un refuge de votre région.
